REVOLUTIONARY
Our first play in the series - about Alexandra Kollontai premiered at Stavanger Concert Hall in 2023. The production is available for touring.

HOTEL EDEN
Hotel Eden is an intense exploration of the last moments of Rosa Luxembourg and Karl Liebknecht's lives before they were brutally murdered January 15th 1919.

FRIDA
Artist Frida Hansen from Stavanger was a true pioneer within textile art in the 20th Century. Volya Theatre is developing a play about her.

QUEEN NANNY
Volya Theatre is looking to engage theatre artists of Jamaican heritage to work on a theatrical exploration of the legacy of Nanny of the Maroons: the woman who led a community of formerly enslaved Africans called the Windward Maroons and fought a guerrilla war against the British.
